LaLiga Player SHOCKS with Headbutt and Punch to Teammate During Loss to Barcelona

MALLORCA player Johan Mojica made headlines when he headbutted and struck his teammate Manu Morlanes during their LaLiga clash against Barcelona, culminating in a disappointing defeat.

Mojica’s outburst came after a penalty was conceded, just prior to Mallorca facing a significant 5-1 loss to Barcelona, who currently lead LaLiga.

The match had initially shown promise for the home team when Vedat Muriqi leveled the score against Ferran Torres‘ first goal just before halftime.

However, everything changed when Mojica committed a foul against Lamine Yamal in the penalty box, leading to a spot-kick awarded shortly into the second half.

The Colombian left-back, visibly frustrated by his reckless challenge on Yamal, lost his cool.

After Raphinha scored the penalty, Mojica inexplicably turned his anger towards Morlanes.

The confrontation escalated quickly, resulting in Mojica HEADBUTTING Morlanes in a shocking incident.

Morlanes appeared stunned and reacted with his words while attempting to cover his mouth.

But Mojica’s aggression did not stop there, as he also hit the 25-year-old midfielder on the arm after shouting in his face.

The match official, Jesus Gil Manzano, seemed unaware of the situation unfolding, allowing Mojica to avoid any disciplinary actions.

Fans were left shocked after witnessing the altercation between the teammates, who had previously played together at Villarreal.

One fan voiced their frustration saying: “This is unacceptable 😡.”

Another fan commented: “He needs to apologize. Why is he behaving like this?”

While another pointed out: “He shouldn’t just get away with this. The manager ought to bench him.”

Mojica’s volatile behavior capped what was a disastrous evening for him, as he struggled to contain Yamal throughout the match.

He made a critical error leading to Torres’ opening goal and found it challenging to deal with the 17-year-old prodigy.

Raphinha, a former Leeds player, scored again in the 74th minute, extending Barcelona’s advantage to 3-1.

Notable players such as former Man Utd target Frenkie de Jong and Pau Victor also contributed to the scoreline, keeping Barcelona four points clear of Real Madrid.

Former Premier League winger Raphinha, nearly sold by Barca this summer, has now scored 11 goals in 16 league appearances this season.

This match marked the SIXTH occasion of Barcelona scoring over five goals in a league match this season.
