BEAU GREAVES admitted that she continues to feel “vulnerable” to losses, despite successfully securing her spot in the quarter-finals of the WDF World Darts Championship.
The 20-year-old has held the women’s title for the last two years, reinforcing her position as the world’s leading player.

On Tuesday, she claimed her position in the last eight with a 2-0 win over Finland’s Kirsi Viinikainen.
Despite her smooth transition to the next round, Viinikainen did present a challenge in the second set, coming close to a nine-darter with her initial seven darts.
Last month, Greaves competed as one of only two women in the Grand Slam of Darts.
She achieved a 5-1 victory against Cameron Menzies but suffered defeats against Danny Noppert and Martin Schindler.
Even with her strong performances in women’s events, she insists she is not invulnerable.
She remarked: “Obviously, I played in the Grand Slam, and I managed to win a match.
“I played reasonably well, but most female competitors are aware of my potential; that doesn’t mean I can’t lose. I face defeats regularly in the women’s series.
“I do lose matches, and that leaves me feeling somewhat vulnerable.”

“Such things can occur at any time; you never know when players like Kirsi can surprise you with their performances.”
Greaves shared her dissatisfaction with her performance but acknowledged that securing the win was the most crucial element.
Darts World Championship match escalates as fans predict ‘they’re about to have a scrap’
She continued: “At the end of the day, I won, which is what counts, but I wasn’t at my best. My darts were falling short and so forth.
“It’s frustrating to return and defend my title, and facing Kirsi was such a tough initial match.
“Nonetheless, I’m just thankful she missed a few doubles, and I’m happy to walk away a winner.”
