Salah, 32, has been phenomenal this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting 11 times in 20 appearances, helping lift the Reds to the top of the Premier League.

However, the winger’s contract is set to expire in June, and there has been little progress on a renewal for the Egyptian superstar, who has an impressive record of 224 goals and 100 assists in 369 games.

This uncertainty has sparked rumors connecting him to clubs in Saudi Arabia, notably with Al-Ittihad reportedly making a jaw-dropping £150 million offer for Salah last year.

Paris Saint-Germain has also been speculated as a potential destination for the Liverpool superstar.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi maintains a good relationship with the former Roma player.

Yet, Al-Khelaifi has dismissed the transfer speculation linking Salah to the Parc des Princes.

The businessman asserts that the rumors are “completely unfounded” and that the French champions “never gave it any thought.”

He stated to Sky Sports: “It’s not true. He is an incredible player, but honestly, we have never considered signing him.”

“We know every club would love to have him, but this chatter about us is just false.”

Salah has hinted on several occasions about possibly leaving Liverpool by the summer.

Mo Salah admits he’s ‘more OUT than in’ as he pressures Liverpool for a new contract

Last month, the forward mentioned that he had yet to receive an offer from the Merseyside club and expressed that he is “probably more out than in”.

The former Fiorentina player also indicated that the recent 2-0 win over Manchester City—where he played a crucial role in the scoring—could have been his last appearance against Pep Guardiola’s team at Anfield.

Regardless, Salah remains open to a new one-year contract despite increasing frustrations regarding the club’s handling of his situation.
