At just 18 years old, Bah has already made a noteworthy impact in his first season in LaLiga after joining on loan from AIK Freetong in his native country.

Newcastle is also believed to be showing interest in the promising 6ft 5in talent, with Everton and Crystal Palace monitoring his progress closely.

The tall defender has participated in seven matches for Valladolid this season.

He started his youth career with AIK Freetong in 2021, followed by an impressive loan period at Sierra Leone National Premier League team Freetonians SLIFA.

Bah joined Valladolid this summer, initially expected to play for their B team.

However, he quickly established himself in the first team, gaining important experience at a young age.

He made history by debuting against Real Sociedad in a 0-0 home draw, becoming the first Sierra Leone-born player to play in the Spanish top division.

Man City is set for a potentially eventful January transfer window.

Manager Pep Guardiola is keen to address his team’s recent challenges, which have included a stretch of six matches without a win in all competitions.

During this difficult period, City conceded an alarming 17 goals.

The reigning champions are also contemplating strengthening their midfield.

According to SunSport, the Premier League champions are eyeing a £50.3 million move for Martin Zubimendi.

While the release clause in Zubimendi’s contract is reasonable, manager Guardiola was initially hesitant about making significant signings in the January market.

However, with ongoing injury issues and poor performance, he may need to rethink his approach, as he is reluctant to place excessive demands on his younger players.
