CHRIS COLEMAN has joined the Leicester family after being appointed as the head coach of OH Leuven in Belgium.
The 54-year-old former Wales manager expands his diverse managerial resume by taking on a position in his seventh country.
Coleman, who recently parted ways with AEL Limassol by mutual agreement following 11 matches, has signed an 18-month deal.
He is expected to be officially introduced before Sunday’s home match against Anderlecht in the Belgian top tier.
Currently, OH Leuven sits in 14th place, third from the bottom, after 15 matches.
The club is owned by the King Power International Group, and Foxes chairman Aiyawatt “Top” Srivaddhanaprabha serves in the same capacity.
Interestingly, OH Leuven’s stadium bears the same name as King Power, akin to Leicester, who appointed Ruud van Nistelrooy as their new manager on Friday evening.
Coleman previously managed Wales, achieving a remarkable run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.
His managerial career includes roles in England with Fulham, Coventry, and Sunderland.
Nonetheless, he relishes the challenges presented by international roles, gaining significant global experience.

Coleman has also taken charge of teams like Real Sociedad in Spain, Larissa and Atromitos in Greece, as well as Hebei China Fortune in China, prior to his short stint in Cyprus with AEL Limassol.
The Welshman has had the honor of managing numerous top players worldwide but noted in March that none compare to Gareth Bale.

Coleman remarked: “[Bale] is the finest player Wales has ever produced.
“I also believe he is the most successful British player to have played abroad, having won four Champions League titles, unmatched by any other Brit.
“Exceptional players need little coaching; they just require the support necessary.
