Lampard, 46, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club and takes over from Mark Robins.

The newly appointed manager wasted no time getting to work as he led his first training session soon after his appointment.

Lampard smiled as he rallied, “Let’s go,” to his new squad before abruptly becoming serious and jogging away.
