REAL MADRID’S team coach has faced a “breakdown” on the M40 motorway.
Several social media users have posted pictures and videos of the new coach stranded on the roadside.
The European champions played against Liverpool last night at Anfield.
Prior to their 2-0 defeat, Real Madrid players were seen arriving at Anfield in this same luxurious coach.
In the footage shared online, the coach appeared to be stuck behind a truck.
It remains unclear if any players or staff were onboard, or if there were any injuries.
Generally, teams would return home immediately after a European match.
However, even if the players and staff flew back, the coach would still need to make the journey back to Madrid.
The newly designed luxury Real Madrid bus was unveiled in October 2024 to transport players to and from their matches.
This high-tech branding reflects the renovated Bernabeu stadium, which underwent a £1.5 billion reconstruction.
The bus also highlights the club’s major achievements.
Inside, players can relax on plush leather seats, each headrest adorned with the club’s crest.
